It's nice to know that the design aesthetics which I came to love with Tokyo is spreading throughout Asia, Chengdu in particular with this post. I'm not sure who the designer was, it could be a non-Japanese (though I tend to lean towards a Japanese considering it's for Sony) but still, he was obviously just as mitten by the postmodern jewels in Tokyo.
Another jewel in Chengdu is the Xinjin Taoism Museum below, and this time, it was designed by a real Japanese, Kengo Kuma.
