WORLD'S LONGEST BRIDGE- Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Bridge

This opened in 2011, the longest bridge across water. 41.58  kilometers aggregate. The Philippines, which might finally be thinking of massive infrastructures to kick up further its growth rate (actually the highest now in Asia since the first quarter of 2013 at 7.8%) should start thinking along this scale. Connecting Samal to Davao City, Guimaras to Iloilo City, or Negros Island  to Cebu Island? Why not?
